This synthetic walkthrough shows how the prototype represented a specific Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), recorded software activity, a review-period date, and a separate receipt acknowledgment. Verando did not determine whether disclosure was legally effective or when a candidate could sign or pay.

How the prototype worked
Follow one brand-specific application record.
The prototype calculated a review-period date from an event recorded in the software. That event was not independent proof of delivery or receipt, and the date is not authorization to sign or pay. The prototype showed a date calculated from the recorded event. It did not prove delivery, receipt, or signing eligibility.
A separate receipt mechanism
The prototype separated receipt acknowledgment from agreement signing, but the exact acknowledgment text was never versioned or cleared for live use.
Candidate-account record
The prototype required a signed-in candidate and recorded the typed name, consent, linked event, and server time.
Minimal intake retention
The prototype kept state and the resulting yes/no threshold checks rather than raw financial values. Its qualification label still required remediation.
